A method of manufacturing a customized interface component for a device such as a mask is disclosed. The method comprises: obtaining three dimensional subject model data representing part of human subject generating interface mandrel data from the three dimensional subject model data forming a customized mandrel using the interface mandrel data and forming the customized interface component for the device using the customized mandrel. The customized mandrel may be formed by three dimensional printing. In some embodiments the customized interface component is formed from an elastomer such as silicone by dip moulding in an elastomer dispersion. A material that is resistant solvents present in the elastomer dispersion such as nylon may be used to form the mandrel.Linvention concerne un procédé de fabrication dun élément dinterface personnalisé destiné à un dispositif tel quun masque. Le procédé consiste : à obtenir des données de modèle de sujet en trois dimensions représentant une partie dun sujet humain à générer des données de mandrin dinterface à partir des données de modèle de sujet à trois dimensions à former un mandrin personnalisé en utilisant les données de mandrin dinterface et à former lélément dinterface personnalisé destiné au dispositif en utilisant le mandrin personnalisé. Le mandrin personnalisé peut être formé par impression en trois dimensions. Dans certains modes de réalisation, lélément dinterface personnalisé est formé à partir dun élastomère tel que la silicone, au moyen de moulage par trempage dans une dispersion élastomère. Un matériau qui est résistant aux solvants présents dans la dispersion élastomère, tel que le nylon, peut être utilisé de manière à former le mandrin.
