PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure the amount of electrons reaching the inside of a resin-made container 2 for confirming the execution of proper sterilization, in an apparatus for performing sterilization by irradiating the resin-made container 2 with an electron beam.SOLUTION: The apparatus executes the sterilization by irradiating a resin-made container 2 held and conveyed by a gripper 28 of a container conveying device 20 with an electron beam from an electron beam irradiator 16. When performing the irradiation with the electron beam, an electron capturing member (earth rod) 60 is inserted from a mouth opening 2b of the resin-made container 2 into the inside, and a current flowing from the electron capturing member 60 to the earth side is measured by a current measure (ammeter) 76.
