PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a strip member capable of easily fixing a housing to a curved portion and further reinforcing the fixing, and to provide a method for fixing the housing to the curved portion by using the strip member.SOLUTION: The strip member 100 is externally attached to the housing 30 in a state of having C shape, and is fastened to the outer surface 30 in a state of having a substantially circular shape. In this case, the strip member 100 fixes the housing 30 to the curved portion 23. The strip member 100 includes: a convex portion 105 formed on one end portion 101 in a circumferential direction in the C shape and protruding toward the other end portion 103 and a concave portion 107 formed on the other end portion 103 in the circumferential direction in the C shape and to be engaged with the convex portion 105 when the member is fastened. The convex portion 105 and the concave portion 107 which are fastened to the housing 30 are engaged without being stacked in a thickness direction.
