PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable diaper capable of suppressing the positional shifting of the rear waist region which covers buttocks while maintaining fitness around legs.SOLUTION: In a disposable diaper 1, leg expansion/contraction parts 75, which expand and contract in the product longitudinal direction, are disposed on the product width direction inner side of each of a pair of leg openings. An area between a rear leg opening and a straight line which passes through the center of the product width direction and is parallel to the product longitudinal direction is larger than an area between a front leg opening and a straight line which passes through the center of the product width direction and extends to the product longitudinal direction. A buttocks expansion/contraction part, which expands and contracts in the product longitudinal direction, is disposed across a crotch region and the rear waist region on the product width direction outer side of the leg expansion/contraction parts.
