Disclosed herein is a pyrimidine compound of general formula (XIV) wherein X8 and X9 are N and X10 and X11 are CH or CZ； or X10 and X11 are N and X8 and X9 are CH or CZ； X6 is CH or N； and the substituents are as defined within the specification, processes for their preparation and compositions comprising said compounds. Particularly preferred compounds include N-[2-(2-Chloro-5- trifluoromethyl-phenyl)-pyrimidin-5-yl]-2,6-difluorobenzamide； N-[5-(2-Chloro-5- trifluoromethyl-phenyl)-pyrimidin-2-yl]-2,6-difluorobenzamide. Such compounds are useful in the manufacture of a medicament for inhibiting immune cell activation； inhibiting cytokine production in a cell； inhibiting T-cell and/or B-cell proliferation in response to an antigen； the treatment and/or prevention of immune disorders； and for suppressing the immune system.
