A harness (1) is worn by an operator to support a power tool (36), and has a pair of shoulder strap pads (3, 3) that are detachably held on both shoulders of the operator, and a waist pad (4) that is detachably held on a waist of the operator. The harness includes an attaching and detaching member (7, 25, 28, 31, 34) that allows the pair of shoulder strap pads (3, 3) to be attached to and detached from the waist pad (4) at one position on a front side of the operator. The harness further includes a side pad (8) that contacts a side or flank of the operator when the operator wears the harness (1).
