PURPOSE: A method for preparing amorphous adefovir dipivoxil by freeze-drying is provided to ensure large solubility. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing an amorphous adeforvir dipivoxil comprises: a step of dissolving adefovir dipivoxil in an organic solvent to obtain an adefovir dipivoxil solution； and a step of freezing the solution and vaporizing only solvent. The organic solvent is ethanol, methanol, butanol, propanol, pentanol, acetone, acetonitrile/dien-butylether, ethyl acetate or methylene chloride.본 발명은 유기용매에 아데포비어 디피복실(이하, AD라 한다)을 용해시켜 AD 용액을 제조하고 증류수를 첨가하여 이루어진 혼합용액을 동결한 다음 동결을 유지하면서 진공을 걸어 용매만 기화시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 무정형 AD의 제조 방법에 관한 것이다.본 발명에 따르면 기존에 개시된 다른 결정형 보다 큰 용해도를 나타내며 제약으로써 바람직한 성질을 갖는 무정형 AD를 제조할 수 있게 된다.
