PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope device using a simple structure having construction which enables a sheath, into which an insertion section is inserted to easily proceed to a region to be examined inside a portion to be examined, together with the insertion portion.
SOLUTION: A gas passage section 2, through which gas A is passed and which is provided in the space between an insertion section 10 and a sheath 50, a gas-inlet mouthpiece 20 through which the gas A is introduced to the gas passage section 2 from outside and which is provided at the base end side of the sheath 50, and a squeeze section T positioned at the base end side of the sheath 50 are included. When the squeeze section T is squeezed, a section of the region opposing in the radial direction of the sheath 50 is squeezed, so that the squeezed region of the sheath 50 is brought into contact with the insertion section 10 with friction, thereby the insertion section 10 and the sheath 50 is integrally operated.
