PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid supply device facilitating insertion of the liquid supply device into culture soil after replenishing liquid, and suppressing clogging of culture soil and damage of plant roots. SOLUTION: The liquid supply device 1 is equipped with a liquid holding container 2 which holds liquid (water W) to be given to a plant P, an exhaust pipe 3 which is unitedly attached to the liquid holding container 2 and is communicated with the inside of the liquid holding container 2, a water absorbing member (string body 4) which is arranged in the exhaust pipe 3 to project from the edge of the exhaust pipe 3 to the outside and sucks out liquid in the liquid holding container 2 to the outside by a capillary phenomenon, and a cylindrical surrounding member 5 which is inserted into culture soil and into which the exhaust pipe 3 is inserted in an insertable and extractable manner.
