PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an odor reduction method capable of avoiding decrease of odor reduction effect of an odor reduction material by moisture when reducing odor of an absorber used for an absorptive article such as disposable diaper, and a bag for reducing odor and the absorptive article suitably used in the method.SOLUTION: There is provided an odor reduction method for reducing odor generated from an absorber with an amphoteric ion exchanger by positioning an absorber which absorbs an odor material and the amphoteric ion exchanger in a space having higher relative humidity than environment. There is provided a bag for reducing odor having a liquid impermeable bag and the amphoteric ion exchanger fixed to an inner surface of the bag.
