PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fundus image processing apparatus that can automatically extract a vascular area from a fundus image while maintaining a vascular fine shape such as a vascular diameter.SOLUTION: A fundus image processing apparatus has: gray scale conversion means 10 for performing a predetermined calculation to RGB3 primary color components with respect to a full color fundus image, and performing conversion into the gray scale fundus image subjected to negative-positive reversal so that a vascular candidate area may become a high brightness linear component emphasis means 20 for performing opening processing by using a predetermined structural element with respect to the gray scale fundus image, and creating a linear component enhanced image where the brightness of all vascular candidate areas is made uniform to a certain level or more and pixel gradation conversion means 30 for replacing a pixel value for satisfying a predetermined condition into a minimum value in the linear component enhanced image, and correcting the gradation of the pixel so that the pixel value equal to or higher than the minimum value may become a range from the minimum value to the maximum value of the gradation to thereby create the vascular enhanced image.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT【課題】 眼底画像から血管径などの血管微細形状を維持したまま血管領域を自動的に抽出することが可能な眼底画像処理装置を提供する。【解決手段】 フルカラー眼底画像に対し、RGB3原色成分に所定の演算を施し、血管候補領域が高い輝度になるようにネガポジ反転させたグレースケール眼底画像に変換するグレースケール変換手段10と、グレースケール眼底画像に対して、所定の構造要素を用いてオープニング処理を行い全ての血管候補領域の輝度を一定以上に揃えた線状成分強調画像を作成する線状成分強調手段20と、線状成分強調画像において、所定の条件を満たす画素値を最小値に置き換え、最小値以上の画素値が、階調の最小値から最大値の範囲になるように画素の階調を補正し、血管強調画像を作成する画素階調変換手段30を有する。【選択図】 図2
