The present invention relates to a catheter assembly, comprising: a catheter body having a proximal end, a distal end, and a central passage therethrough； and a tip positioned near the distal end of the catheter body, the tip being conically shaped and having a conductive portion including a ring-shaped cutting feature and a projection outwardly extending from the ring-shaped cutting feature towards an outer diameter of the tip, the tip further comprising an insulating tip portion supporting the conductive portion and extending radially further outward than the ring-shaped cutting feature, the conductive portion configured to be electrically coupled to an electrosurgical generator.
