PURPOSE: A medicine packaging material is provided to prevent the generation of print failure regardless of the heat-resistance processing of a background layer by printing on a transparent film. CONSTITUTION: A medicine packaging material(110) includes a transparent film(111), a background layer(113), and an adhesive layer(115). The transparent film includes a first surface with an image, and a second surface formed on the rear side of the first surface. The background layer is formed on the fixed region on the second surface of the transparent film for supplying a background image to the image on the first surface. The background layer is located in between the transparent film and the adhesive layer.
