PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce medium resistance generated in an oscillator unit in an ultrasonic probe having the oscillator unit performing scan mechanically in the inside.SOLUTION: A medium chamber is formed in the ultrasonic probe and has the oscillator unit 16 making oscillating movements in the inside. In particular, the oscillator unit 16 is mounted on a rotating shaft 22 via two arms 18, 20. The oscillator unit 16 and the arms 18, 20 respectively have a horizontal cross-section of a streamline shape, and consequently, the medium resistance is reduced substantially.
