The present utility model relates to a mechanical coconut splitter which is used to split coconut shell faster and less force. The use of this machine will assist the coconut farmers in splitting the coconut shell an~ to avoid accidents due to manual splitting of coconut. Development of the mechanical coconut splitter can train the farmers in splitting the coconut shell in a safe way and to utilize the coconut water for additional income. The concept of splitting the coconut shell can be accomplished by stepping down the pedal to raise the blade. Upon securing the position of the coconut shell on the liquid collected, the lock is released causing the blade to impact the coconut shell and splitting in two. A hole is operably connected to an outlet pipe for the collection of coco water.
