The device has tip and ring electrodes supply lines (ZL1, ZL2) transmitting therapeutic signals or diagnostic signals. An electrode pole (220) is connected to one of the supply lines. The pole delivers electrical current to surrounding bodily tissue e.g. myocardium, or senses electrical potentials in the bodily tissue. The supply lines are inductively coupled for defined resonant frequencies such that radio frequency (RF) energy of one of the supply lines is diverted to the other supply line and delivered to the tissue via the supply lines and the pole.
