Disclosed herein is a pesticidal composition comprising a carboxamide compound of formula (I), wherein R1 represents a hydrogen atom or methyl group, and R2 represents a methyl group, a difluoromethyl group or a trifluoromethyl group, and one or more pyrethroid compounds selected from group (A) consisting of tefluthrin, lambda-cyhalothrin, cypermethrin, betacyfluthrin, permethrin, deltamethrin and bifenthrin； and a method for controlling pest which comprises treating a plant, or soil where a plant grows, with an effective amount of said composition.Пестицидна композиція, яка містить карбоксамідну сполуку формули (І) і одну або більше піретроїдних сполук, вибраних з групи (А), яка складається з тефлутрину, бета-цифлутрину і біфентрину, і ця композиція має чудову пестицидну дію.(І)
