Provided is a method for inducing T cells for immunotherapy, including: a step (1) in which human pluripotent stem cells having a WT1 antigen-specific T cell receptor or an Epstein-Barr virus antigen-specific T cell receptor are provided; and a step (2) in which progenitor T cells or mature T cells are induced from the pluripotent stem cells from step (1). iPS cells, in particular, can be suitably used as the pluripotent stem cells. The human pluripotent stem cells having an antigen-specific T cell receptor can be obtained by inducing iPS cells from T cells having the desired antigen specificity or by introducing the desired antigen-specific T cell receptor to the iPS cells. T cells obtained by using this method can be used in immunotherapy for a variety of immune-related diseases including cancer and infectious diseases.
