PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small animal trap for capturing a small animal such as a mouse when the animal steps on a footboard at an entrance even if the animal does not touch a bait put on the trap, which can sanitary dispose the dead body of the captured animal.SOLUTION: The small animal trap includes a capturing part body, an openable/closable door, and a footboard-cum-body receiving part. When the footboard-cum-body receiving part is pressed, a placing part, a connection member and a door locking part disposed between the door and the footboard-cum-body receiving part are synchronously moved to close the door.
