PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sensitive device for controlling insect pests, which is used for sensing, detecting, monitoring, feeding, poisoning or exterminating one or more kinds of the insect pests.SOLUTION: This insect pest-controlling system 20 includes insect-controlling devices 110 set around an area or a building. The devices 110 comprise feed members and communication circuits, respectively. Each communication circuit may be the form of a passive RF tag for transmitting information showing a feed status and a unique identifier to each insect pest-controlling device 110. A hand-held interrogator 30 is provided to specify and communicate the position of the insect-controlling device 110 through the communication circuit.
