PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a destructive insect-controlling device thereby diurnal agriculturally destructive insects can thereby be attracted and trapped in large numbers during the day in which the insects are activated.SOLUTION: A destructive insect-controlling device 1 is provided with a light-reflecting attractant part 4 that reflects sunlight, and a trap 6 for trapping the insects that are drawn to the light reflected by the light-reflecting attractant part 4. The light-reflecting attractant part 4 is a reflecting plate that causes reflectance of 220-390 nm light wavelength components to be 5% or less. Because the light-reflecting attractant part 4 reflects almost no ultraviolet rays, the contrast of ultraviolet rays in the space is increased compared to sunlight by the destructive insect-controlling device 1 and diurnal agriculturally destructive insects are strongly attracted to the light-reflecting attractant part 4.
