PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pigment fixing composition that can improve fixability of a pigment to an image printed on the surface of a solid preparation, such as pharmaceuticals and food, and can coat the pigment for protection, to improve the scratch resistance and peel resistance of the printed image； and provide a solid preparation.SOLUTION: A pigment fixing composition is used for inkjet-printing on a solid preparation. The pigment fixing composition can permeate the solid preparation, and contains at least a water-soluble and edible, pigment fixing component, and water, but substantially contains no water-insoluble components.
