PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hearing protection device capable of properly catching usual conversation sound while a big impact noise like shooting sound is blocked.SOLUTION: The hearing protection device of this invention includes a parallel flat condenser by opposite arrangement having a gap d between an electroconductive diaphragm 6 vibrating in response to sonic wave and a fixed electrode 4. The electroconductive diaphragm 6 vibrating in response to sonic wave transmits the receiving sound to an ear of a user A through a sound continuous hole 4a of the fixed electrode 4, and a wave detector 92 detects the wave when a microphone 8 picks up big sound, and direct-current voltage is supplied and applied between an electroconductive diaphragm 6 and the fixed electrode 4 and the electroconductive diaphragm 6 is absorbed to the fixed electrode 4 in order to inhibit the transmission of the impact sound.
