PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capsule type endoscope capable of changing an operation in a specific region of a subject reliably with a simple configuration.SOLUTION: A capsule type endoscope 10 includes: a light emitting unit 13 for emitting illumination light to illuminate the inside of a subject a capsule type housing 11 in which a dome type housing 112 to transmit the light generated by the light emitting unit 13 and a light transmission window 18 to transmit the illumination light reflected by the subject are provided in mutually different regions an optical sensor 17 provided at a position where the illumination light transmitting the light transmission window 18 can be detected a light shielding member 19 covering the external surface of the light transmission window 18, which is made of a material which can be dissolved by a specific substance secreted into the subject, and whose transmissivity for the illumination light is less than a predetermined value and a control unit 14 for changing the operation of the capsule type endoscope 10 when a change in the intensity of the light detected by the optical sensor 17 reaches a predetermined level or more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT【課題】被検体内の特定部位において動作を簡易な構成で確実に変更することができるカプセル型内視鏡を提供する。【解決手段】被検体内を照明する照明光を発生する発光部13と、発光部13が発生した光を透過させるドーム状筐体112と被検体で反射された照明光を透過させる光透過窓18とが互いに異なる領域に設けられたカプセル型筐体11と、光透過窓18を透過した照明光を検出可能な位置に設けられた光センサ17と、被検体内に分泌される特定の物質によって溶解可能且つ照明光に対する透過率が所定値未満である材料からなり、光透過窓18の外表面を覆う遮光部材19と、光センサ17が検出した光の強度の変化が所定量以上となった際にカプセル型内視鏡10の動作を変更する制御部14とを備える。【選択図】図2
