A known adhesive plaster has a wound dressing and a flat carrier material, at least certain portions of which cover a rear surface of the wound dressing facing away from the active surface and at least two largely opposing adhesive surfaces of which extend beyond the wound dressing, said adhesive surfaces being provided for fixation of the carrier material on human or animal skin. According to the invention, the wound dressing is made of resorbable material and is detachably connected to the carrier material by means of a retaining structure.
