To provide a successive comparison type A/D converter, an imaging apparatus, and an endoscope, capable of preventing linearity of an output signal from being degraded.SOLUTION: The successive comparison type A/D converter includes a comparator circuit 403 having an input circuit 403a into which a pair of voltage signals is input, a compensation circuit 403b, connected in parallel to the input circuit 403a, for compensating for nonlinearity of input capacitance in the input circuit 403a and an output circuit 403c for comparing and outputting one signal of the pair of voltage signals held by the input capacitance in the input circuit 403a and the other signal.
