PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easy-to-carry massage roller with a beauty effect, which does not generate vibrations when using a power source from a receptacle or a battery, which uses only a permanent magnet without use of an electric current from power-generating equipment, which can be inexpensively manufactured by virtue of a simple structure, and which not only achieves a healing effect by making a larger alternating field (magnetic field) act on a living boy but also brings about an upward massage effect, a lift-up effect or a tapping effect, like a manual massage effect.SOLUTION: The massage roller includes a support rod, a holding portion at one end on the same axis line as the support rod, and a cylindrical head rotating on the axis line at the other end. The permanent magnets are provided on the cylindrical head and an outer peripheral surface of a shaft, respectively.
