A therapeutic microwave system comprises a support unit having two or more separable segments a microwave power assembly positioned between two separated segments of the support unit and including two or more microwave power supply devices position adjustment componentry and a central processing unit. The system may further include a temperature sensor for monitoring a treated subjects exhaled air temperature in real time and adjusting microwave irradiation accordingly, and a cooling device for controlling the patients brain temperature during treatment.
