A handle assembly of a hand-held electromechanical surgical device, the handle assembly comprising: a power pack (101) including: a core assembly (106) having a plurality of motors (152, 154, 156) and a plurality of drive shafts (152a, 154a, 156a) operably coupled to a respective one of the plurality of motors； and an inner housing (110) encasing at least the plurality of motors； an outer shell housing (10) including distal (10a) and proximal (10b) half-sections which when joined define a cavity (10c) configured to selectively receive the power pack therein, the second section having a connecting portion (20) for coupling to an adapter assembly (200)； and a barrier plate assembly (60) disposed between the connecting portion of the distal half-section of the outer shell housing and the inner housing of the power pack, wherein a rotation of each drive shaft by the respective motor is transmitted through the inner housing and the outer shell housing via the barrier plate assembly.
