PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing device, an information processing method, and a program capable of effectively estimating a users emotion.SOLUTION: An information processing device 100 for estimating an emotion of a user includes an acquisition part, a starting point detection part 111, an ending point detection part 112, and an emotion estimation part. The acquisition part acquires a heart rate and a respiration rate of the user. The starting point detection part 111 detects a starting point of the emotion of the user based on the heart rate and the respiration rate. The ending point detection part detects an ending point of the emotion of the user based on the heart rate and the respiration rate.
