PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair type massage machine, enabling reliable expanding and contracting operation of a foot rest part.
SOLUTION: The foot rest part 13a supported on a support frame body 5a connected to project and retreat at the front end of a seat part 11a is provided with a shin treating part 131a and a tiptoe treating part 132a, and the respective spaces between the seat part 11a and the shin treating part 131a and the tiptoe treating part 132a can be expanded and contracted by an expanding and contracting mechanism 6a. As the expanding and contracting mechanism 6a, the support frame body 5a is constructed by a rear member 51a, an intermediate member 52a slidably connected to the rear member 51a to support the shin treating part 131a, and a front member 53a slidably connected to the intermediate member 52a to support the tiptoe treating part 132a. The rear member 51a and the front member 53a are connected to each other by a driving expanding and contacting body 64a driven to expand and contract by a motor 641a, and the intermediate member 52a is operated by an interlocking part 60a interlocking with the expanding and contracting operation of the rear member 51a and the front member 53a.
