This droplet flow rate measuring device is provided with an image capturing unit which captures images of droplets dripping in a drip tube, and an optical sensor which detects the droplets. In an initial period, the image capturing unit and the optical sensor are operated, the droplet volume and the number of dripped droplets are measured on the basis of the images of the droplets captured by the image capturing unit, and the number of dripped droplets is measured on the basis of the number of times the luminous intensity of light received by the optical sensor falls below a prescribed value, and the flow rate of the droplets is measured on the basis of the droplet volume measured by the image capturing unit and the number of dripped droplets measured by the image capturing unit or the optical sensor (first mode).
