The rice polisher is provided with a linear heater which can surround the holding recess, the rice polisher body is provided with a water supply device which supplies water to rice in the polished rice container, the side surface of the rice bran container is provided with a heat transfer part, heat emitted by the linear heater can be conducted from the holding recess to the space in the rice bran container through the heat transfer part of the rice bran container, and the water supply device supplies water to rice grains in the polished rice container arranged in the inner space of the rice bran container, rice grains can be heated efficiently, and therefore GABA contained in the rice grains can be collected efficiently.本發明之課題為將精米容器內的米有效地維持適當的溫度，而有效率地富集GABA(γ-Aminobutyric acid：γ-胺基丁酸，簡稱GABA)。本發明之精米機具有：米糠容器，可分離地收容於精米機本體的收納凹部；精米容器，可分離地收容於該米糠容器內並設有網狀部；精米體，設於該精米容器內並攪拌精米容器內的米。本發明之精米機設有線狀加熱器可圍繞收納凹部，且在前述精米機本體設置給水裝置供應水分給前述精米容器內的米，並在米糠容器的側面設置傳熱部。藉此，線狀加熱器發出的熱會從收納凹部經由米糠容器的傳熱部傳導至米糠容器內的空間，因此藉由給水裝置供應水分給設於米糠容器內部空間的精米容器內的米粒，且米粒能有效率地加熱，所以能有效率地富集米粒中含有的GABA。
