PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ethanol-free liquid oral composition exerting excellent systemic bactericidal effect to periodontal disease primitive biofilm, having good external stability at low and high temperatures, hardly stimulating and effective for preventing and improving intraoral diseases.SOLUTION: The ethanol-free liquid oral composition comprises (A) isopropylmethyl phenol, (B) propylene glycol and/or glycerol, (C) at least one nonionic surfactant selected from a polyoxyethylene-cured castor oil of 40-100 moles average addition number of ethylene oxide, and a 16-18C chain length polyoxyethylene alkyl ether of 10-40 moles average addition number of ethylene oxide, and (D) at least one water-soluble polymer compound selected from sodium carboxymethyl cellulose, carrageenan, and hydroxyethyl cellulose.
