PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hepatopathy inhibitor with naturally occurring plant(s) as material(s), particularly, a protective inhibitor against alcoholic hepatopathy, besides, to provide a food/drink having protective inhibitory effects on hepatopathy, alcoholic one, in particular.
SOLUTION: The hepatopathy inhibitor is provided, whose active ingredient(s) is (are) processed product(s) of at least one plant selected from the group consisting of Melissa officinalis and orthosiphon aristatus. As active ingredients for the food/drink, the respective processed products of Melissa officinalis and orthosiphon aristatus are to be used in the weight ratio of (7:3) to (4:6).
