PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bush cutter capable of easily preventing cut grass from being involved in the center part of a rotary blade.SOLUTION: The bush cutter 100 includes: an operation member 1 a head member 2 a drive source not indicated a rotary blade 3 and a rotary blade protection member 4. The head member 2 is comprised so as to connect the operation member 1 with the rotary blade 3 forming a predetermined elevation angle 5 with respect to an upper surface 3B of the rotary blade 3. In the bush cutter 100, a plurality of projections 11 on the circle of a concentric circle 13 of an outer diameter 3C of the rotary blade 3, which is larger than the outer diameter 2B of the head member 2 are provided on an upper surface 3B of the rotary blade 3. Further, a tip end 21C of a cut grass involvement prevention member 21 is provided in a space part 16 generated between the projection 11 and an upper surface 3B of the head member 2 and the rotary blade 3. The tip end 21C is comprised to be arranged holding a small gap between a projection side surface 11C and the upper surface 3B of the head member 2 and the rotary blade 2, respectively.
