PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening and closing structure of a cutting blade cover capable of moving the cutting blade cover of a riding grass mower in a horizontal direction and easily released during maintenance work, and in addition, capable of forming a discharge path of grass cut by adjusting the position of the cutting blade cover.SOLUTION: The opening and closing structure of the cutting blade cover for applying to a grass mower includes: a travelling machine including wheels a cutting blade 9 disposed under the travelling machine and rotating a side cover 11 disposed in the outer periphery of the cutting blade 9 and preventing small stones or the like from popping out.
