The invention relates to the field of hydrogen therapy and more specifically to a composition (10) comprising: - at least one hydride (11) able and intended to dissolve in contact with an aqueous medium and to thus release dihydrogen； and - at least one agent (12) for formulating the at least one hydride (11), the formulation agent (12) being designed to bring the at least one hydride (11) into contact with an environment of the composition (10) in at least one physiological condition observable in the human body (2) or in an animal body. Thus, by degrading the agent for formulating and dissolving hydride, the composition allows dihydrogen in dissolved form to be released into at least one targeted part of the human or animal body.L'invention concerne le domaine de l'hydrogénothérapie et plus particulièrement une composition (10) comprenant : - au moins un hydrure (11) propre et destiné à se dissoudre au contact d'un milieu aqueux et à libérer ainsi du dihydrogène, et - au moins un agent de formulation (12) de l'au moins un hydrure (11), l'agent de formulation (12) étant configuré pour mettre en contact l'au moins un hydrure (11) avec un environnement de la composition (10) dans au moins une condition physiologique observable dans le corps humain (2) ou animal.. Ainsi, la composition permet, par dégradation de l'agent de formulation et dissolution de l'hydrure, de libérer du dihydrogène sous forme dissoute dans au moins une partie ciblée du corps humain ou animal.
