PURPOSE: An automatic dried fruit molding apparatus and a method thereof are provided to enable users to easily mass-produce dried fruit by flatly pressing fruits. CONSTITUTION: An automatic dried fruit molding apparatus comprises the following: trays(117) fixed to a supporting frame； a lower container(120) including lower concave units(121) for storing dried fruits on each tray； a molding device(130) with upper concave units, located on the upper side of the lower container； and a pressurizing unit(140) moving and rotating the molding device to the lower side for rotating and pressurizing the dried fruits inside the lower concave units. The pressurizing unit includes a compression frame(150) fixing the molding device, and a driving unit(160) rotating and pressing the compression frame.본 발명은 복수 개가 상하로 이격되게 배치되며 지지프레임에 각각 고정되는 트레이들과 상기 각 트레이 상에 건조 과일들이 각각 담겨지도록 하방으로 오목하게 형성된 하부 오목부들이 복수 개가 형성되어 있는 하부용기와 상기 하부용기의 상부에 배치되며, 상기 하부 오목부들에 각각 대응되도록 상방으로 오목하게 형성된 상부 오목부들이 복수 개가 형성되어 있는 성형장치와 상기 성형장치를 고정하며, 상기 성형장치를 하방으로 이동 및 회전시키면서 상기 상부 오목부가 대응되는 상기 하부 오목부에 담겨진 상기 건조 과일을 회전 가압시키는 가압 수단을 포함하는 자동 건조 과일 성형장치 및 방법을 갖는다. 따라서 본 발명은 건조 과일을 나선 및 하강운동을 가해 성형하므로 내부의 씨는 표면이 터지지 않도록 눕혀지며, 매트릭스 형태로 배열되는 용기들에 담아지는 복수개의 건조 과일을 동시에 압착하게 되므로 대량성형이 가능한 효과를 가진다.
