PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiographic imaging system, a control method, and a control program capable of more effectively relieving pain of a subject. A mammography apparatus 10 includes a compression control unit 80. In the case of continuous imaging in which simple imaging and tomosynthesis imaging are continuously performed while the breast is in the compressed state, the compression control unit 80 uses the compression plate 34 in one of the simple imaging and tomosynthesis imaging. Control is performed so that the force that presses the breast is the first compression force. Further, the compression control unit 80 changes the compression force by the compression plate 34 from the first compression force to the second compression force smaller than the first compression force after one of the simple imaging and the tomosynthesis imaging. In the other imaging, the force for pressing the breast by the compression plate 34 is controlled as the second compression force.
