The present invention relates to substituted [1,2,4]triazole compounds of formula (I) as well as to the N-oxides and the salts thereof. It further relates to the use of said compounds for combating phytopathogenic fungi, to methods for combating phytopathogenic fungi, and to seeds coated with at least one such compound. The invention also relates to processes for preparation of these compounds, intermediates, processes for preparation of such intermediates, and to compositions comprising at least one said substituted [1,2,4]triazole compound of formula (I).
