PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide instant chow mein topped with a starchy sauce, allowing to finish cooking in one container.SOLUTION: A method for cooking the instant cup chow mein topped with a starchy sauce is provided. The instant cup chow mein includes a container, dried noodles stored in the container, ingredients stored in the container and packed, and/or ingredients directly filled in the container, a thick sauce material stored in the container and packed, and an openably sealed cover having an opening for hot water drainage.
