598082 Disclosed herein is a pharmaceutical composition to be parenterally administered, including submicronic ester particles of docosahexaenoic acid, dispersed in an aqueous phase using a mixture of at least two surfactants selected from among a) at least one polyoxyethylene fatty acid ester and b) at least one phospholipid derivative selected from the group of consisting of lecithins of natural origin, phospholipids of natural origin, synthetic phospholipids and mixtures thereof. The present invention also relates to the method for preparing said pharmaceutical composition.
