According to the present invention, a cosmetic composition for blocking ultraviolet rays comprises spherical fine particles of titanium dioxide having a particle diameter of greater than 70 nm. Even when comprising a large quantity of the spherical fine particles, the cosmetic composition is not sticky after being applied on skin. Thus, the cosmetic composition has high ultraviolet ray blocking index, and provides fresh sense of using while having high coverage and adhesion. Also, the cosmetic composition can be easily absorbed to a sponge by being filled to a carrier including the sponge, thereby exhibiting excellent packing properties. The cosmetic composition for blocking ultraviolet rays according to the present invention can be provided in a form of being immersed in a sponge, thereby having excellent portability.본 발명에 따른 자외선 차단용 화장료 조성물은 70 nm 초과의 입경을 갖는 구상의 미립자 티타늄디옥사이드를 포함함으로써 조성물내에 다량 포함하여도 피부에 적용시 끈적임이 없다. 따라서, 높은 자외선 차단지수를 갖고, 커버력과 밀착성이 높으면서도 산뜻한 사용감을 제공할 수 있다. 또한, 스펀지를 포함하는 담체에 충진시 스펀지에 흡습이 용이하여 높은 충진능을 나타내므로, 상기 본 발명에 따른 자외선 차단용 화장료 조성물은 스펀지에 함침된 제형으로 제공이 가능하여 휴대성이 우수하다.
