PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article excellent in the capability of preventing reverse flow when a user is seated.
SOLUTION: In the absorbent pad 200, a prescribed area in the middle in the longitudinal direction including a crotch C2 in a lower absorber 23B is formed as a constricted portion 23n, and upper layer slits 40 penetrating the front and rear surfaces of an upper layer absorber 23U are extended from the crotch C2 to a rear side portion B2 on both left and right sides of the center line in the lateral direction in the upper layer absorber 23U. Each upper layer slit 40 has a dispersion facilitating part 41 extended to be located outward in the lateral direction toward the rear side in the rear of the rearward expansion starting position 23W in the constricted portion 23n of the lower layer absorber 23B. The lower layer absorber 23B does not have slits at least at the positions corresponding to the upper layer slits 40.
