PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical guide wire having excellent torque transmission property and breakage resistance.SOLUTION: A medical guide wire 1 includes: a distal-side wire 10 constituted of Ni-Ti-based alloy a proximal-side wire 20 constituted of Co-Cr-Ni-based alloy and a joining part 30 bridging across a boundary surface between the distal-side wire and the proximal-side wire.
