PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catheter having a simple configuration, capable of excising an embolus of a blood vessel and acquiring an image of the blood vessel by an OCT.SOLUTION: A catheter 10 includes: a shaft 11 having an opening 20 at a part of a lateral wall at a distal side； a cutter 12 located near the opening 20 in an internal space of the shaft 11, and capable of moving in an axial direction 101 of the shaft 11； a torque shaft 16 inserted into the internal space of the shaft 11 and transmitting rotation torque to the cutter 12； an OCT image wire 17 provided along the torque shaft 16； a reflection material 18 reflecting near-infrared ray excited from the OCT image wire 17 in a direction crossing with the axial direction 101； and a balloon 23 disposed at an opposite side of the opening 20 with respect to the axial line of the shaft 11 and inflating outward from the lateral wall of the shaft 11.COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT【課題】血管の塞栓を切除することができ、かつＯＣＴによる血管の画像を取得できる簡易な構造のカテーテルを提供する。【解決手段】カテーテル１０は、先端側の側壁の一部に開口２０を有するシャフト１１と、シャフト１１の内部空間において開口２０付近に位置されており、シャフト１１の軸線方向１０１に移動可能なカッター１２と、シャフト１１の内部空間に挿通されており、カッター１２に回転トルクを伝達するトルクシャフト１６と、トルクシャフト１６に沿って設けられたＯＣＴイメージワイヤ１７と、ＯＣＴイメージワイヤ１７から出射される近赤外線を軸線方向１０１と交差する方向へ反射する反射材１８と、シャフト１１の軸線に対して開口２０と反対側に配置されており、シャフト１１の側壁から外側へ膨らむバルーン２３と、を具備する。【選択図】図２
