The side embossed regions (10) are each formed such that a plurality of large embossments (11, 11), which are formed so as to have relatively large surface areas, are arrayed in a straight line and arranged at regular intervals in a longitudinal direction of a sanitary pad (1) and a plurality of small embossments (12), which are formed between adjacent large embossments (11, 11) so as to be spaced apart from the large embossments (11) and so as to have relatively small surface areas, are arranged in a wave-like pattern so as to be spaced apart from one another in the longitudinal direction of the sanitary pad (1).
