Disclosed is an X-ray detector provided with a scintillator comprising a perovskite compound. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the X-ray detector comprises: a scintillator for converting an incident X-ray into a visible ray； a photoelectric conversion unit disposed at a lower portion of the scintillator and converting the visible ray into an electric signal； and a substrate disposed at a lower portion of the photoelectric conversion unit. The scintillator includes a perovskite compound represented by the following chemical formula 1, A_3M_2X_9, wherein A is a monovalent cation, M is a trivalent metal cation, and X is a monovalent anion.본 발명은 페로브스카이트 화합물을 포함하는 신틸레이터를 구비한 엑스선 검출기를 개시한다. 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 엑스선 검출기는 입사된 엑스선(X-ray)을 가시광선으로 변환하는 신틸레이터(scintillator)； 상기 신틸레이터의 하부에 배치되고, 상기 가시광선을 전기적 신호로 변환하는 광전변환부； 및 상기 광전변환부의 하부에 배치되는 기판을 포함하고, 상기 신틸레이터는 하기 화학식 1로 표시되는 페로브스카이트 화합물을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
