The present invention relates to a method for extracting glyceollins for use in functional whitening preparations, which method uses glyceollins extracted from beans as material for liquid, powder or ointment-type preparations and cosmetics, so as to remove freckles which are hyperpigmentation disorders causing pigment spots of light or dark brown color and which are distinctly differentiated from adjacent healthy skin, thus achieving improved skin whitening effects. Beans are immersed under water such that the volume of the wet beans is five times bigger than that of the dried beans, and wound stress is applied to the beans to induce elicitation. Then, the beans are cultured for 3 days at the temperature of 20?, and the cultured beans are dried for 4 hours at the high temperature of 110?. Subsequently, the beans are ground into powder such that the bean powder may pass through a mesh tray, and the bean powder is dissolved into ethanol of 80% to obtain pure glyceollins from the extract containing glyceollins.본 발명은 연한 갈색, 혹은 암갈색을 띠는 색소 반점으로 주위의 건강한 피부와 확실하게 구분되는 것으로 과색소 침착 질환인 기미를 콩으로부터 추출한 글리세올린을 액제, 분말, 연고형 제제 및 화장품 등의 원료로 사용하여 피부의 미백 개선에 효능을 얻을 수 있도록 하는 기능성 미백제재용 글리세올린 추출방법에 관한 것으로서,콩은 건조된 부피의 5배로 수침하여 상처 스트레스(Wound Stress)를 가하여 글리세올린의 생합성증대(Elicitation)를 유도한 뒤, 20℃에서 3일간 배양하고, 배양한 콩을 110℃에서 4시간 고온건조 시키고, 채반을 통과할 수 있도록 분말화 하고, 이를 80％ 에탄올에 녹여 글리세올린이 함유된 추출물에서 순수 글리세올린을 얻는 것을 특징으로 한다.
